I visted Costa Rica in 2007 and have a vivid memory of my introduction to the jungle. The moment I stepped off the tour bus, I was overcome by the richness of my surroundings. I was first met with the song of the Cicadas echoing through the dense jungle – getting louder and softer in waves, but never completely stopping. The ancestreal vibration connected with some core aspect of my being, drawing me further into the depths of the forest and opening up a whole new world of exploration.
It was an amazing trip. I saw so much.
For 16 years I have been feeling pulled back to the jungles of Costa Rica, and in the fall of 2023 (mere weeks ago at the time of publishing this) I returned. Click on any of these images for more photos and stories.
